Terms & Conditions

COMPETITION: "Home Crowd, Away Game", 14.06.26: WIN A BEER TOWER AT CARIBOU KINGSTON

The purpose of these competitions is to celebrate team spirit, creativity, and community. Participants are encouraged to compete in good fun and respect fellow attendees, venue staff, and other patrons.

  1. The Promoter is the Social Group PTY LTD operating as Caribou Kingston (ABN 91 613 858 307), located at 44 Jardine Street, Green Square Kingston, ACT 2604.

  2. The competition is open to residents of ACT only aged 18 years or over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter or any of its related bodies corporates, or of its agencies or contractors involved with this competition are ineligible to enter.

  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

  4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  5. The rules of this competition and how to enter are as follows: entrants must accept a table tent card upon arrival at Caribou Kingston and display the card on their table. The card must remain visible in order for entrants to be considered for any of the three prize categories.

  6. The competition will run from 4:00pm AEST on Sunday the 14th of June 2026 to 6:00pm on Sunday the 14th of June 2026.

  7. 'Home Crowd, Away Game' is a rolling competition. Entries will be used only for ​the competition running on Sunday the 14th June 2026, and will not carry over into future iterations of the competition.

  8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

  9. The winner will be selected and announced in venue at Caribou Kingston upon the conclusion of the Canberra Brave v Adelaide Adrenaline away game at approximately 6:30pm. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and select a replacement winner.

  10. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.

  11. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

  12. This competition is categorised as a game of skill. Winners will be selected based on merit and participation during game day across three categories: best dressed, loudest table, and MVP/staff choice. 

  13. The prize for each category is as follows: 1x beer tower to the approximate value of $40, to use at Caribou Kingston at the next Brave Away Game watch party. Tower must be shared between at least 4 pax and consumed responsibly. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute this prize if these conditions cannot be met.

  14. The total prize pool is 3x beer towers to the approximate total value of $120.

  15. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

  16. The prize(s) will be awarded to the valid entrant or entrants who best meet the Judging Criteria, as determined by Caribou staff, in accordance with the Prize Details.

  17. Judging Criteria varies across all three categories.

    • The 'Best Dressed' category will take into consideration factors such as themed face paint or makeup, clothing, jerseys, group coordination, creativity, and originality.

    • The 'Loudest Table' category will consider tables that participate most consistently and loudly during the game. Participating tables will be judged on enthusiasm and energy, team participation, crowd engagement, and sportsmanship & conduct. Excessive disruption, abusive behaviour, or interference with other patrons will result in disqualification.

    • The 'MVP' winner will be selected based on all-rounder participation: clothing, chanting, a positive contribution to the team atmosphere, creativity, humour, sportsmanship, and acts that make the event more enjoyable for other attendees.

  18. Judges' decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  19. All costs associated with the prize including, but not limited to, any transport costs, transfer costs, meals, taxes, insurance and other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner (and their companion(s) if applicable).

  20. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Australian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

  21. By entering, participants consent to photographs and videos taken during the event being used for event promotion and marketing purposes unless they advise the Promoter otherwise.

  22. Winners agree to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Australian data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

  23. Winners consent to having their name (or a nominated team name) and photograph displayed on Caribou's "Hall of Fame" blackboard until the next iteration of the "Home Crowd, Away Game" competition and/or until new winners are selected.
